Robin Oliveira grew up in upstate New York but now calls the Seattle area home. She is a former registered nurse specializing in Critical Care and Bone Marrow Transplant, but now writes fiction and the occasional essay. She holds a B.A. in Russian and studied at the Pushkin Language Institute in Moscow when Russia was still the USSR. In addition to a degree in nursing, she holds an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She is the New York Times bestselling author of three novels.
