Brenda Scott Royce is the author of more than a dozen books for adults and children. Her romantic comedy Monkey Love was by Janet Evanovich as "delicious as a jelly doughnut," and its sequel, Monkey Star, earned a Book Buyers Best award. Children's titles include Bailey the Wonder Dog, One Wordy Bird, and Dig It: Dinosaurs and Other Prehistoric Creatures. Her short fiction won grand prize in the Writer's Digest Annual Writing Competition in 2015. She lives outside Los Angeles.
