Eliane Di Pol Kurbegov, born in France, came to New York City in 1969 as an au-pair. She met and married a Bosnian immigrant and had two children. With a B.A. and M.A. from Hunter College -CUNY, followed by a Specialist Degree from Nova University, Eliane went on to teach French at the high school and college levels in New York, Florida and Colorado. She has been a consultant for the College Board for many years, leading AP workshops and Summer Institutes, writing test and curricular items.
