Hi! I think I probably have the best job in the world - CEO of the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen.I have been described as "the world's happiest man" and "the Indiana Jones of Smiles" (and much in between) , and I am committed to finding out what makes people happy. At the Happiness Research Institute my team and I try to understand how we can measure happiness, why some people are happier than others, and how we can improve quality of life. Lucy can still remember as a young girl when her dad would read to her every night at bedtime. When they had moved on to chapter books, she didn't want to wait to find out what happened next, and that was the beginning of her love affair with reading. She has always enjoyed discussing her favorite stories with her friends. Often saying what she would have done if the characters were her own. And over the years has received much encouragement from them to write her own stories. As a single mother she made a career in accounting. Now that her daughter is grown she's using her free time to go back to her own dream...
