Max is a 12-year old boy with autism and he lives in Denver, Colorado. His book, Hello, My Name is Max and I Have Autism was the result of an Autism Awareness event that he organized for his elementary school. Max wanted to do a service project and the result was the first ever Light it up Blue day at Eagleview Elementary.
Max had lots of art around the house as we used art as a form of communication and for dealing with emotions as his words would get stuck. Max and I mounted his art on some foam board and I typed up his art descriptions...
