Merlin is the author of Entangled Life: How Fungi Make Our Worlds, Change Our Minds, and Shape Our Futures. Merlin received a Ph. D. in tropical ecology from Cambridge University for his work on underground fungal networks in tropical forests in Panama, where he was a predoctoral research fellow of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. Christopher Woods has been an avid reader his entire life. In addition to "This Fallen World," he has written five books in his wildly-popular Soulguard series, as well as "Legend" and it's sequel, "Daskada, the Legend", plus several short stories in the Four Horsemen Universe.
