A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. . . . “The war is over. The Separatists have been defeated, and the Jedi rebellion has been foiled. We stand on the threshold of a new beginning.”—Emperor Palpatine For a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights brought peace and order to the Galactic Republic, aided by their connection to the mystical energy field known as the Force. But they were betrayed—and the entire galaxy has paid the price. It is the Age of the Empire. Now Emperor Palpatine, once Chancellor of the Republic and secretly a Sith follower of the dark side of the Force, has brought his own peace and order to the galaxy. Peace through brutal repression, and order through increasing control of his subjects’ lives.

Seen It All
By Jeezy,
All Music Guide - David Jeffries Stuck in prison on gun charges as this seventh studio album saw release, Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy -- or now, just Jeezy -- mentions he doesn't "eat, sleep, or shit" without his m-f'n pistol. This evidence for the prosecution shows up here on the hooky thug cut called "Me OK," a Drumma Boy and Jeezy wonder where criminal-minded lyrics are packed tight into a singalong list of dirty deeds done dirt cheap ("Mister, if I'm talkin' you should listen, game is free, ok?/Got two whole ones and two half ones, mister that's three, ok?"). Younger Now
By Cyrus, Miley
2017 album from irrepressible pop diva, features 'Rainbowland' with Dolly Parton, 'Inspired' & the hit title track
Sporting nearly identical cover art to Playing with Fire -- the sophomore solo set that appeared a few months earlier in 2016 -- To Celebrate Christmas actually contains more verve than its secular counterpart. Freed from the need of having a hit, Jennifer Nettles plays around, letting "Go Tell It on the Mountain" groove to a hard rock riff and turning "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" into a hot dance shuffle that could've sounded at home during prohibition. Nettles still will play it earnest -- "Circle of Love" is as straight as it gets -- and the record slides into a slow, deliberate march in its back half, heavy on ballads, all of which puts To Celebrate Christmas into the realm of immaculately crafted fireplace music that never quite captures the imagination. That's too bad because early on, To Celebrate Christmas has some attitude -- enough to suggest the album wouldn't be conventional -- but eventually, Nettles finds her own cozy comfort zone, a place that is nothing more than pleasant.
