Chapter and Verse is the audio companion to Bruce Springsteen's autobiography, Born to Run, arriving in bookstores September 27th, 2016. Five of the album's eighteen tracks are previously unreleased. Springsteen selected the songs on Chapter and Verse to reflect the themes and sections of 'Born to Run.' The compilation begins with two tracks from The Castiles, featuring a teenaged Springsteen on guitar and vocals, and ends with the title track from 2012's Wrecking Ball. The collected songs trace Springsteen's musical history from its earliest days, telling a story that parallels the one in the book, and is a must for any Bruce Springsteen fan.

Full circle
By Lynn, Loretta
Full Circle is the first new studio album in over ten years from American music icon Loretta Lynn. Produced by Patsy Lynn Russell and John Carter Cash, and recorded at the Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee, Full Circle takes listeners on a journey through Loretta's musical story, from the Appalachian folk songs and gospel music she learned as a child, to new interpretations of her classic hits and country standards, to songs newly-written for the project. Drawing inspiration from personal memories and deep connections to American music, Lynn's 13 new recordings capture the essence of these songs in intimate new performances. The album is volume one of the Cash Cabin recordings, a series of new album projects imagined and created at the storied Cash Cabin Studio. Highlights from FULL CIRCLE include "Lay Me Down," a duet with Willie Nelson; "Everything It Takes," featuring guest vocals from Elvis Costello; "Whispering Sea," a new version of the first song Loretta ever wrote; and soulful new renditions of some of Lynn's classic tunes, including a rousing renditions of "Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven" and "Fist City." The album also includes traditional Appalachian songs from Loretta's childhood such as "Black Jack David" and "I Never Will Marry." At 83 years old, Lynn's voice sounds as powerful as ever, and this new material only adds to her legend as a performer.

Trav'lin' Light
By Latifah, Queen
With Trav'lin' Light, singer/actress/rapper/Cover Girl Queen Latifah (née Dana Owens) continues her chameleonic pan-stardom. The latest musical chapter in Latifah's success-studded career began with 2004's The Dana Owens Album, on which she emerged as a nuanced crooner of jazz and R&B standards. She continues this mode on her Verve records debut, adding ample individuality to such well-loved classics as Johnny Mercer's title track, Nina Simone's "I Want a Little Sugar in My Bowl," and Antonio Carlos Jobim's "Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars" (with legendary harmonica pioneer Toots Thielemans). Steve Wonder's own harmonica playing lends nostalgic ornament to an otherwise rather forced "Georgia Rose," and much of the album languishes in similarly downbeat fare, though Latifah's voice is never wholly unbecoming of her song choices.

Kidz Bop 28
By Kids, Kidz Bop
All Music Guide - Timothy Monger On their 28th collection, the ever-changing crew of Kidz Bop Kids take a crack at the pop hits of late 2014 and early 2015. Although the project claims to be sung "by kids for kids," the Kidz Bop versions are usually quite close in tone, style, and production value to the adult versions, making it tough to find the appeal. On this collection, the Kidz get their mojo on with Ariana Grande's "Love Me Harder," dish out some young sass on Meghan Trainor's "Lips Are Movin," and continue to plow through One Direction's catalog with "Steal My Girl." There are also songs by Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Mark Ronson, and Selena Gomez, among others. ...
