Linebaugh Celebrates Renovations with Open House

2018 was a busy year for the staff at Linebaugh Public Library, and if it's been a while since you've been in the library, things have changed. Carol Ghattas showed off the changed in a recent open house and was featured in several media outlets.

Come in and see the newly expanded children's section, teen study area, and media area area on the first floor. The second floor has new public computers, study space and fiction and non-fiction materials for adults. Through a visit to the library, you'll learn that they have free WiFi, notary service, a driver's license renewal kiosk, fax, copier, and many more services.

Tax Information and Assistance

Form 1040 booklet (form 1040 and Schedules 1-6) and 1040 Instructions (including instructions for Schedules 1-6) are now available at the Linebaugh and Smyrna branches. All other tax forms can be found online at irs.gov.

Laura Loggins becomes new Youth Services Specialist at Linebaugh

With the recent promotion of Mindy Barrett to our MGL branch at Patterson Park, Laura Loggins has taken the reigns as Linebaugh's new Youth Services Specialist.

Loggins has worked for many years in Youth Services, so she is not stranger to the department or the children. She will bring her unique gifts and experiences to the position, and we look forward to her leadership for the years ahead.

Give her your congratulations next time you come to the library!
