CHANGES AT LINEBAUGH

Over the next several months, the staff at Linebaugh (the main branch of RCLS) will be working to make changes to better serve you. Come visit us to see for yourself, but here's a short list of what's to come:

• Opening up space in on first floor
• New flooring in entrance area
• Children's events area to be relocated/expanded
• Creation of special teen study area
• New media/graphic novel area
• Adult materials relocated to 2nd floor
• New public computers?

RCLS would like to spotlight several events happening this month.

Just a reminder that ALL branches of RCLS will be closed Monday, September 3, for Labor Day.

• MEET SARAH POLK Join us as Debbie Watts brings to life Sarah Childress Polk, Murfreesboro native and wife of U.S. President James K. Polk, Tuesday, September 4, at 4 p.m.

• MASTER GARDENERS CLASS at Linebaugh is Thursday, September 6, at 7 p.m. This month's topic is Fall Planting and Seed Saving.

• FOR THOSE WHO LOVE KNITTING: Yarn Love Murfreesboro meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Linebaugh, and Smyrna Knitting and Crochet Group meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 6 p.m.

• UPSTREAM at MGL begins Tuesday, September 11, at 4 p.m. ? 
• FRIENDS OF LINEBAUGH 2018 PEN PAL AUTHOR Shannon Messenger, bestselling author of the Keeper of the Lost Cities and Sky Fall series, will be at Linebaugh, Wednesday, September 26, 6:30 p.m.
