Summer Reading starts June 20th!

This year, you are invited to explore sports and fitness as we present “On Your Mark, Get Set, Read” for children age 3 and up. We will also offer a “Little Runners Club” for infants and toddlers through age 2 and a “Get in the Game – Read” reading club for teens. Adults are invited to “Exercise Your Mind – Read!”

The summer reading program is both fun and practical. Studies have shown that children who read over the summer can actually improve their reading skills. And of course, there is no assigned reading so kids are free to read books that appeal to them, be it fiction or nonfiction. Audio books can be counted, too, as well as books presented at storytime.
