Looking for a job? Wish there was a way to practice your interview skills and get resume assistance? The library is here to help.

JobNow! is the library’s one stop shop for all things career. Here you have access to resources for help writing your resume, interview practice, and job coaching. Using JobNow! will allow you to use resume templets, guides, and workshops. You can also receive live assistance and submit your finished resume to be reviewed by experts and get feedback. By using this service you will also have access to interview tips, online resources to help you to prepare, and the opportunity to practice your skills with a live interview coach. Sessions are available between 3pm and 11pm 7 days a week and written transcripts of the interview can be saved. No appointment is necessary. Once you have perfected your resume and interview skills you can use the national and local resources for job seekers and get advice from a live job coach on searching, applying, and preparing for jobs. All you need is your home or library computer and a valid Manchester Public Library card to sign up. Save the Date!

On Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 6:30pm at Cheney, MPL will be hosting a card party. Choose from three designs (or one of each!) and create a homemade Valentine’s Day card. African Drumming and Dancing Program

On February 11, 2017 the Green Street Teaching and Learning Center at Wesleyan University will conduct an African Drumming and Dancing program at Cheney from 10:30am-11:30am.
