JobNow! is the library’s one stop shop for all things career. Here you have access to resources for help writing your resume, interview practice, and job coaching. Cut the Cord! How to End the High Cost of Your Cable TV and Phone Service

Presenter James Gifford of NitroPress Communications has more than 30 years of experience in consumer electronics, home entertainment systems and Internet computing. He's also a writer whose current focus is on practical consumer electronics. His household cut the cord years ago.

On January 12, 2017 at 6:30pm at Whiton, learn about the basic and TV entertainment system needed to get the most from Internet providers and the inexpensive equipment needed to connect to these sources. The world of Internet-based entertainment can replace costly cable (and phone) service for a fraction of the price...and give you more choices.

Bring your questions! Although this seminar will focus on Manchester and cover the special issues and problems of "getting good TV” locally, anyone will be able to use the general information.

No registration is required but come early to be guaranteed a seat. Call Reference and Adult Services for more information at 860-645-0821.

* Snow date is January 19th, 6:30pm at the Whiton Auditorium.*
