Shelf Help: Personal Book Shopping
Stumped on what to read next? If you are looking to expand your reading with new titles, authors, and genres, this is for you! Shelf Help is a brand new service for adults looking for a personal shopping experience at the library. Patrons will complete a form that asks a variety of questions about their reading habits and what they are looking for in their next great book. The request will then be matched with one of our expert staff, who will review their choices and pick two to three books we believe you'd like. The books will be placed on hold and waiting in our brand new Shelf Help canvas bags. This service is free and will begin this fall, so stay tuned for more details.

Children's had 624 participating children and a whopping 9,438 books read. Introducing CineMPLex Movie Packs
Our adult Grab 'N Go crafts have been wildly popular, so in a similar vein we are introducing CineMPLex, another adult Grab 'N Go item designed to bring a few hours of fun right into your home! Each CineMPLex bag will have two DVD's, popcorn, and a box of candy. Patrons will be able to select the bag of their choice from a large list of themes, such as action, adventure, comedy, drama, superhero, or romance, but they will not know what the movies are on the inside. Run times and ratings will be included on the bag to help patrons make a selection as well. The movies will be checked out to you and need to be returned, but the popcorn and candy are yours to enjoy! CineMPLex will be available this fall - ask a staff member for additional details.
