Gardens. Loom Weaving. Traphagen.

The St. Louis County Master Gardens wrap up their gardening programs for 2019 with tips on how to prepare for winter. The Duluth Fiber Guild walks participants through using a loom. Tony Dierckins presents on Oliver Traphagen, Duluth's quintessential architect. Book clubs now meeting at all DPL branches!

Comic Character Workshop. Games. Pizza.

If you love pizza, there's a Teen Pizza Party in early October. Bring your story to life at the Create Your Own Comic Character Workshop. Show off your Halloween style with the costume contest at the Spook-tacular Hallow-Teen Party.

Storytime. Movies. Coding. LEGO®. Costume Parade.

Family Fort Night opens the door to after-hours reading fun. Learn the fundamentals of computer programming through hands-on play. Let your young artist shine with Stories + Art for Kids and Halloween Crafts. Join in the special Halloween Storytime and Costume Parade and trick-or-treat at the library!

Duluth Public Library is Free From Fines

Why did we go Free From Fines? Well, one of our main goals is to enhance our current library services to better serve community needs. That includes exploring new strategies to increase access, service, and resources for under-resourced households. Overdue fines act as a barrier and it was time to be free.
