U.S. Historical Novels: A Great History Lesson with Blaine Davies, M.A., Professor of U.S. History

Program description: What can you learn about history from historical novels? Blaine Davies leads a discussion of U.S. historical novels and how they can help us better understand what it was like to have experienced the dramatic events in our country's history first hand. History is more interesting and relevant when one views it from a "present" perspective like the people that were actually there and did not yet know the outcome of the events that shaped our country.  This program made possible by the Ross marital Trust.
