Readers of all ages are invited to track their reading and enter to win prizes this winter. Registration will begin on Dexember 23, 2019. All ages have the option to sign-up online HERE or in person at the library. Prizes will be available starting January 6, 2020.

Tabletoppers unite! For casual players, avid tabletop pros, and everyone in between, our library has a space for you to connect with other gamers! Meet local gaming group, The West Allis Area Gamers on select Saturdays. Feel free to bring a favorite game to play, or drop in and join a game there. This event is for patrons ages 15 and up.

 Coloring Club

Thursday, December 5 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM

Join us for this drop-in style program. We provide the coloring pages and materials, you provide the creativity! No registration required.

  Leisure Learners

Monday, December 9 at 10:00 AM: Harry and the Snowman (DVD Presentation)

Sometimes you just have to take a chance. Harry DeLeyer took a chance on a plow horse, Snowman, who became a Triple Crown winner within two years of his rescue.

Friday, December 27 from 3:30 - 5:30 PM

Come hang out with us at the library! We'll have games, including our Nintendo Switch, coloring sheets and snacks. Friday Fun is a drop-in program for patrons in grades 6 - 12. You are welcome to stay for all two hours, or just hang out for a bit! Feel free to bring your own Nintendo Switch controller or age appropriate game!

Baby Shark Jammie Jam Storytime 

Tuesday, December 3 from 6:30 - 7:15 PM

Can you not get enough of Baby Shark? Do you like wearing pajamas all day long? Do you enjoy having stories read to you? If you answered yes to any of these questions, our Baby Shark Jammie Jam Storytime is for you! Come for shark stories, rhymes, and a craft. Registration is not required and pajamas are encouraged!

 Switch Gaming for Kids  

Friday, December 6 from 3:30 - 5:00 PM

Kids in grades 1 - 5 can come play on the Library's Nintendo Switch. Each session we will play a specific game. This month's game is Super Smash Bros. (rated E10+). Kids will take turns rotating to play! Switch Gaming is a drop-in program, so kids can stay for the entire program or just hang for a bit. 

 Lego Club  

Saturday, December 7 from 2 - 3 PM

Join our Lego Club for kids in grades K5 and up. Make Lego creations that will be exhibited in the Children's Dept. display case. The Library provides the Legos, you provide the imagination! This event is free, and all Legos must remain in the Library. Registration is not required.

 Toddler Drive-In Cinema 

Tuesday, December 10 from 6:30 - 7:15 PM

Kids can make their own "car" out of a box; then, sit in their car while we watch short movies based on their favorite books. This program is best for ages 0 - 5 and an adult. Registration is not required.

Homeschool Hangout 

Thursday, December 19 from 1 - 2 PM

During this month's Homeschool Hangout, we are going to learn about the many holidays that take place this time of year. This program is for homeschooled children ages 5 - 11 and their families. Registration is not required.
