Winter Reading Program |
Now-Feb. 28
Our winter reading programs for all ages are back! Sign up now, and track your reading through Feb. 28. Register at westallislibrary.beanstack.org or in person. In addition to the grand prizes, you could win prizes as you tally your books or minutes read. Babies to readers in grade 5: Every 10 books or 200 minutes read earns an entry into the prize drawing, up to 50 books or 1,000 minutes. Readers in grades 6-12: For every two books you read, you'll be entered to win a prize. At four and eight books read, stop in the library for a prize! Readers 18 and older: Read four books to earn an entry into the prize drawing. At eight books, get another entry. Prizes include books and deluxe book bundles for each age group. Happy reading! |

Friday Film Club |
Feb. 4 and Feb. 18 at 2pm
Enjoy a film select Friday afternoons in the Constitution Room. On Feb. 4, join us for a showing of Jungle Cruise, featuring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt. On Feb. 18, watch Jennifer Hudson star as Aretha Franklin in Respect. Doors will open 15 minutes before the show, and we'll have room for the first 25 people who walk in. Masks required. Both movies are rated PG-13. |

Whole Body Wellness: Guided Meditation |
Feb. 9 at 7pm
We'll experience a guided meditation technique called yoga nidra, which uses breath and body awareness to effortlessly enter a place of deep relaxation. Please come in comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat, blanket and/or pillow if you like, since we'll practice lying down. Identity theft continues to be the fastest growing crime in the United States. The Wisconsin Bureau of Consumer Protection will explain the different types of identity theft, how to recognize it and how to prevent it. In an effort to make programming available to the targeted age group for each program, we ask that you respect the programs' age limits and try to limit the number of additional adults and siblings, whenever possible. |

Staying Safe at the Library |
We are open Monday-Thursday 9:30am-8:30pm, Friday and Saturday 9:30am-5:30pm and Sunday 1-5pm! Onsite services are available, including browsing and checkout, copier and fax services, and reference services. Masks are required. Computer time is limited to 90 minutes per day.
