Our winter reading programs for all ages will return at the end of December! Sign up beginning Dec. 27, and track your reading through Feb. 28. Register at westallislibrary.beanstack.org or in person. In addition to the grand prizes, you could win prizes as you tally your books or minutes read. Part 1: Dec. 1, Part 2: Dec. 15
In the latest episodes of WAPL’s podcast, librarians Sarah and Desirae welcome WAPL book club members Michele and Heather for a conversation about the best books they read this year. In Part 1, they talk about inspiring characters who overcame obstacles, stories that delve into parent-child dynamics, and the impact of social media—and how the future might look. Then look for a bonus episode that concludes our conversation with several more recommendations! Listen at anchor.fm/beyondthedesk or wherever you listen to podcasts. |
