Halloweek: Betwitching Hours
Oct. 25 at 4-7pm
Come to the library Monday, Oct. 25 for the Bewitching Hours, part of West Allis Downtown’s Halloweek. Dress as your favorite character and capture a spooky selfie at our photo booth. Gather outdoors, weather permitting, for enchanting storytimes at 4:30 or 5:30pm. Those 12 and older can sign up for one of four 30-minute spots to make paper doll witches. Younger children and families can grab our Take & Make Skeletons, Scary Mad Libs and coloring sheets. The magic begins at 4pm, but the power of the spell will fade by 7pm. Whole Body Wellness: Mindful Eating

Join librarian Desirae as she discusses the benefits of mindful eating. The program will include a special mindful eating exercise, and attendees will receive a mindful eating wellness kit. Sensory Play
Oct. 4 & 18 at 10am
This outdoor program is for kids ages 0-5, with a caregiver. Preschoolers and toddlers, join us for some messy fun. Each session, we will make a new sensory concoction to play with. Register to make pumpkin paint. Register to make pumpkin cloud dough. You may also call (414) 302-8502 to register. All sessions take place outdoors, on the grassy area on the south side of the parking lot.

Staying Safe at the Library
Beginning Oct. 3, we will be open Monday-Thursday 9:30am-8:30pm, Friday and Saturday 9:30am-5:30pm and Sunday 1-5pm! Onsite services are available, including browsing and checkout, copier and fax services, and reference services. Masks are required. A limited number of public computers are available. Computer time is limited to 90 minutes per day. Curbside service is still available. For the most up-to-date information, visit our website.
