I’m reaching out to you because I know and appreciate how supportive you have been of West Allis Public Library in the past. As our library enters the 2021 budget season, we are asking our library super supporters to send a postcard to your state legislators and/or local officials telling them why you are thankful for West Allis Public Library.
We want our elected officials to understand what the library does for West Allis and for residents like you, especially during the pandemic. Your words make a powerful difference in showing the community’s support for the library.
I would be happy to supply you with a postcard (or several if you wish!) that you can mail to an elected official, or you can email lawmakers in our area. If you aren't sure who your elected officials are, please call us at (414) 302-8500, and we can give you their names and contact information.
Not sure what to write? “I am thankful for West Allis Public Library because…” or “West Allis Public Library helped me in 2020 by…” are great ways to start your postcard.
Feel free to reach out with any questions. Thank you so much for everything you do to support West Allis Public Library. Your help ensures that our library will continue to serve and strengthen our community for years to come.
