Brought to you in partnership with the Library Speakers Consortium.

Join a free workshop to build your skills and confidence using technology. Topics include Cybersecurity and Internet Basics. Learn tips from a knowledgeable instructor, practice what you learn, and ask questions.

 

Coffee & donuts will be served at each workshop. Participants will earn a certificate of completion and be entered in a drawing for BOSE wireless headphones! Registration is not required. Please contact Erin Kolb at 509-758-5454 or email with questions.

Ukulele Jam! (adults and teens)

Anyone, especially beginners, can join for a short tutorial and practice. Bring your own ukulele and music stand. If needed, the Library has one ukulele and music stand for your practice. Program for those 13+ years old. 

Appy Hour: Local Healthcare Apps  (adults)

Digital Navigators

Our Digital Navigators, Georgia Jordan and Asher McCoy, are library staff who can help you with computer, internet, and technology skills. They can also help you find low-cost broadband (high-speed internet) and devices with local internet service providers and assist with applying for the Affordable Connectivity Program.

A NOTE FROM THE ASOTIN COUNTY LIBRARY FOUNDATION

The Big Read is an Asotin County Library Foundation Challenge inspired by the National 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Program. Asotin County Community Services coordinates Birth to Three Therapeutic Services for families with young children who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Staff will be available at THE BIG READ Event to assist with scheduling free developmental screenings for infants and toddlers. Learn more.
