The Nez Perce Tribe Local Education Program Fund awarded $10,000 to Asotin County Library to add items to the Asotin County Heritage Collection, including a group of photographs and postcards of the Nimiipuu. This allowed us to hire an intern to help staff in digitizing the items and making them available on the Washington Rural Heritage website and well as the Northwest Digital Public Library.

The Tribe’s Local Education Fund has provided support for the library in numerous ways over the years.

We very much appreciate their support and partnership.
