Welcome to February, Love Your Library month!

Love Your Library is our new Winter Reading Program. Check out all the details at www.crcpl.org/lyl. There are fun library-related activities. When you complete all 5, you get a little prize. It's the perfect excuse to come visit the library, check out a library event or two, and talk to friends about your favorite books and movies. We hope you'll join us.  To help you celebrate, we've loaded up our schedule with fun things to do at all 9 locations. Remember that all of our events are free and open to the public, though some require registration.

Black History Month Celebration

Thursday February 20, 2020, 6-9pm (CHS/CMS Auditorium, 425 Yoctangee Pkwy, Chillicothe)

This year's Black History Month Celebration will be a little different. We are bringing the Urban Jazz Coalition to Chillicothe for a celebration in music at the Chillicothe High School/Middle School Auditorium.

At 6pm, we will meet and mingle with student groups and local organizations in the CHS/CMS Commons, and enjoy music from the CHS Jazz Band and Symphonic Choir.

At 7pm, Urban Jazz Coalition will take the stage in the auditorium for the main event.

Check out some of UJC's music now on Freegal - just sign in with your library card and you can stream up to 5 hours of music per day.

This event is presented by the library in partnership with the Chillicothe City School District, the NAACP, and the City of Chillicothe.
