Good afternoon!

Will March come in like a lion, and go out like a lamb? It's hard to say, but in any case, get ready to welcome spring.

This March at the library, we're holding our first Pop Culture Art Show, which I hope will become an annual event. The art show will be up during our WeGeek Convention, celebrating all things geeky, so be sure to check them both out.

We're also celebrating this month with our 2019 March Book Madness Tournament of Books. This year's theme is Literary Animals. The tournament started last week with 32 pairs of animals, and will narrow it down to one winning animal at the end of week four. If you would like to play, print your bracket (or pick up a copy at the library) and make our selections. Give your choices to a staff member by 5pm on Sunday, March 31st and you'll be entered into a random drawing for a Wheatberry Books gift certificate. You do not have to have chosen the final winner to be entered. Have fun!

Looking ahead to next month, we'll be kicking off April with a Poetry Reading and Open Mic Night on Wednesday the 3rd. If you're interested in reading, now's a good time to start gathering your material.

This newsletter covers adult events, but be sure to check out our events calendars online or at your favorite library location for details about programs for children and teens.

As always, if you have any suggestions for future events, I'm happy to hear them.

See you at the library!
