Good afternoon,

We've wrapped up another year of Bookworm. Thank you to everyone who participated. If you completed either the Reading Challenge (5 book reviews) or the BINGO Challenge (filled your BINGO card), and haven't picked up your prize, please be sure to stop by your local library soon. We have finishers' buttons and coupons from our Bookworm sponsors for you this year.

It's August, so the Ross County Fair is right around the corner. Whether you stay all week, or just for a day, come visit us at the Library booth in the Commercial Building. All of our locations will be open as usual during Fair week too.

See you at the library!

Featured Event: Reception for Local Author Laura Pinnix

Main Library Annex

Wednesday August 29, 6-7:30pm

Celebrate local author L. Philips and her much anticipated new novel, Sometime After Midnight. Meet the author, mingle with fellow biliophiles, and enjoy light refreshments. Bring your copy for Laura to sign. Wheatberry Books will have copies available for purchase in-store and at the event.

L. Philips, Laura Pinnix, graduated from Ohio University with a degree in music education, decided that job was entirely too noisy, and became a librarian here at CRCPL instead. When she is not working, she enjoys belting out show tunes when she things no one is listening and watching the same episodes of Thomas the Tank Engine over and over (or at least that's what she tells her toddler son). She lives in Chillicothe. Sometime After Midnight is her third young adult book.
