Featured Event: Step Outside Your (Filter) Bubble

Thursday, March 22, 2018 6-8 PM - Northside Library

A "Filter Bubble" is what develops over time as your preferences influence search results and content that is shown to you on the internet. Even simple things such as where/how you access the internet are used by algorithms to limit the information that you see.

Come join the conversation, and learn about how to burst your filter bubble (or at least recognize it).

Composting - March 5, 2018 6-8pm (Annex)

Turn your spoil into soil.Learn to make free fertilizer for your lawn, garden, and house plants. We'll discuss various methods of composting and how adding it to your garden improves soil'scondition, water retention and nutrient availability. Registration appreciated.

Presented by the Ross County OSU Extension and Master Gardener Volunteers, in partnership with the Chillicothe & Ross County Public Library.

Introduction to Computer Basics - March 10 & 24, 2018 2-3:30pm (Northside Branch)

In this course series, we will be exploring what a computer is, how to use its basic functions, and the basics of surfing the Internet and keeping yourself and your computer safe from online threats. Registration required.
