Good afternoon,

Wow! It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through Bookworm. We have almost 500 adults registered for Bookworm this summer, setting a new record! There’s still time to sign up and win some great prizes for reading or being active. You can register or log your time at www.crcpl.beanstack.org.

Bookworm runs until Wednesday, July 27. We’ll do the grand prize drawings at noon that day, and hand out prizes at our Bookworm Finale and Pool Party at 6pm in Yoctangee Park.

Our Summer Music Series at Northside Branch is a big hit! We’d love to see you for the final three shows of the season, held the next three Wednesdays at 7pm on the lawn at Northside Branch. Bring a chair or a blanket, or maybe even a picnic.

Looking back at last month, I also wanted to thank everyone who participated in our One Book, One Community event. It was a great day, and I’m very pleased with the feedback we’ve received. We are still working on organizing discussion groups, so if you’re interested in being part of one please email events@crcpl.org.

As always, if you have suggestions for library events, I love to hear them. See you at the library!
