Good afternoon,

As we move into the darkest part of the year, I love to spend my evenings curled up with a good book. We have a few events this month to help you stay connected, but generally limit the number of programs in December.

Save the date! We’re organizing a One Book, One Community event early next year. Please join us in reading Dear White Friend by Melvin Gravely, II. Melvin is a business person from the Cincinnati area. He wrote Dear White Friend as a series of letters to a colleague, and later published it. Melvin will be visiting Chillicothe on Wednesday February 2, 2022 for a series of events hosted by CRCPL, Adena Health System, the Ross County NAACP, and Ohio University Chillicothe. There will be a Community Forum at 7pm that evening. You can check out the book now at the library, or digitally through the Ohio Digital Library.

As always, if you have suggestions for library events, I love to hear them. See you at the library!
