Good afternoon,

While the air might be a little cool today, the flowers definitely show us that spring is here! Now that it's April, National Library Week is also right around the corner, April 4-10. We have a few activities in mind to celebrate, and we hope you'll join us.

First, we welcome the return of our Friends of the Library Book Sale! Last year's sale was cancelled, but we're getting ready to hold the Book Sale again this year. The sale will be spread out over a few extra days, running Monday April 5 through Saturday April 10, so there's plenty of time to shop. Masks are required, and we will be limiting the number of people in the room at any time, and asking that people move in one direction only through the room. Find your next read or a hidden treasure at $0.50 per item, or $5 per box (we provide the boxes). Proceeds from the Book Sale help support our library programming.

Most years during April, library staff and advocates from accross Ohio participate in legislative day to meet directly with their elected representatives. In the past, this has been an in-person event, but this year is being held virtually. As part of the week's activities, CRCPL Director James Hill is hosting a Virtual Town Hall with some of our local partners and representatives.

With the warmer weather, we're also bringing back our drive-up movie events at the Mt Logan Branch. We have two scheduled this month!

As always, if you have suggestions for library events, I love to hear them. See you at the library!
