Good afternoon,

Happy New Year! We navigated many surprises in 2020, and I'm glad to welcome 2021. I hope you enjoyed a safe and happy holiday season. I for one have enjoyed the snow we received a few times last month, though I know not everyone feels the same.

All 9 library locations are currently offering curbside service during limited hours (drive-through at Northside Branch). Please visit www.crcpl.org/curbside for details about hours and how to access services while our buildings are closed to the public.

Our county branches' "take and make" activity kits continue to be a hit. Each kit includes materials and instructions for a fun craft or other activity. Please contact your local branch for details.

I'm pleased to introduce the library's new Peer Support Specialist, Heather Osborne. Heather is available to help people find resources in the community, or just to talk to anyone who needs someone to listen. She's offering a series of drop-in Zoom chats this month, so this is a great chance to meet her (details below).

I'm also excited to announce the return of game night! This month, we'll be playing Among Us. Whether you're already a fan, or want to see what it's all about, register now so we can get you instructions on how to join us.

As always, if you have suggestions for library events, I love to hear them. See you at the library!
