Good afternoon,

     As we approach the winter solstice, I think we can all use a good book, and maybe some ideas for things to do without leaving the house. If you're looking for some comfort on these chilly afternoons and evenings, the library has you covered. Our events are offered virtually, so you have a safe way to learn new things and see friendly faces.

     The parking lot construction is finished at Main Library. Traffic flow is a little different, so stay sharp!

     Our county branches' "take and make" activity kits were a hit last month, and will continue in December. Each kit includes materials and instructions for a fun craft or other activity. Please contact your local branch for details.

     The holidays will be different this year. I hope you'll find ways to enjoy them safely. Please know that the library system is working hard to stay open for you. You can help us by wearing a mask when you're out and about, and staying home if you're not well. If you need a mask, we can give you one - just ask.
