What's Happening @ the Library

Welcome to our monthly newsletter.  We wanted to provide an update on how to access our services.  We have masks and wipes available for patrons who request them. We want you to use the library, but we want you to be safe, too. We are allowing patrons to reserve our study rooms (up to 3 days in advance) and we have tables out for use.   To reserve a study room visit: https://southplainfield.librarycalendar.com/reserve-room .Our hours are as follows:  Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 10am-8pm Tuesday, Friday 10am-6pm,  and Saturdays 11am-3pm.
The Library will be closed Monday June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.  We will reopen Tuesday June 20 at 10am.

Contact-less Pickup is another great option for patrons who don't feel comfortable coming into the building, but who would still like to use our collection. If we don't have what you're looking for, you can go to our online catalog and search for what you're looking for and place it on hold from one of the libraries in our system.  If you're looking for some recommendations, check out our booklists for adults created by the librarians in a variety of genres. All the information is on our website (southplainfield.lib.nj.us/curbside.htm), and there are also written and video tutorials to help guide you in this process. All items can be picked up Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 10:00 AM to 8 PM, Tuesday and Friday 10:00 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 11 AM to 3 PM. Staff will contact you when your items are ready to be picked up.
