Throwback Crdecorative imageaft Night - The Pinterest Junkie Group: A M3 Program

                                        Monday June 20, 2016 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
If you love scrolling through Pinterest and pinning crafts and projects, this is the group for you!
Once a month, The Pinterest Junkie Group will meet and complete a project that is popular on Pinterest.  Every month will be something new and exciting to create.
We will provide the supplies and equipment from our Makerspace (M3); all you have to do is come and fun have and meet new friends!
Registration is required and this program is for ages 18 through adults.

LEGO Robotics @ Lake Hiawatha!

Steam Works Studio  (located on Waterview Blvd, Parsippany) will engage each child as they creatively build and program robots with LEGO® bricks and computer software—all while having a great time developing STEAM skills!

Dork Diaries Party for Grades 4-5

Students in grades 4-5 are invited to join us for games and crafts featuring the Dork Diaries series by Rachel Renee Russell.  Registration is required and will begin on Wednesday, April 20 at 9am.

TAB Meeting (Grades 6-12)

Monday, May 23 and June 13th, 3 pm

The Teen Advisory Board is made up of teens who participate in and influence the functioning of the library.  TAB is an open forum to have your voice heard. Stop by the Teen Center during a TAB meeting to see what it’s all about; and, if you’re interested, apply to join!  Registration is not required.



We're looking for a few good Friends!

The Friends of the Parsippany Library is a 501C3 volunteer organization.

We are looking for a president; vice president; secretary and treasurer. Job descriptions can be found on the Library’s website. Essentially these officers attend monthly meetings ( at a time and day of the week agreed upon by the officers) ;  solicit ideas and preside over the fundraising activities of the Friends; encourage involvement in the Book Nook and any other of the Friends fundraising activities. This is the perfect job for anyone who loves the Library and wishes to give back to the community!
