Main Library, 449 Halsey Road

Join us in welcoming Deborah Guarino, Author of "Is Your Mama a Llama?"

For 30 years author Deborah Guarino has been known as the "original Mama Llama,” because of her well-known picture book, Is Your Mama a Llama?, which is still available in five editions, languages from Spanish to Arabic, as an animated film short, and several musical versions.

Now Deborah is celebrating the 30th anniversary of this perennial classic by introducing her newest book, a "'fractured fairy tale” for readers ages 7 to adult, called If the Shoe Fits…

The average life expectancy is now 76 years old, older for women. The chance that you will be caring for an elder or need care yourself someday is higher than ever.

Learn what information is best to know when it comes to finding an aide, looking for assisted living housing, keeping track of basic needs, and more. Being prepared is the best way to know what you need and want so that you may be an effective, but not exhausted, caregiver. It is also the best way to help someone who may be caring for you someday.
