New Year - New You: Biofield Energy Clearing
January 11th
11:00am-12:15pm
Trauma is a part of every person. When the vibration of trauma is cast off into our energy field it feels like a lost puzzle piece. Biofield energy cleaning is tuning the pieces of the puzzle to be gently put back into place allowing you to feel whole again.
Alicia Bozza is studying for her Certification as a Biofield Tuner.
Registration required.
Friends of the Library
Are you a local college student, looking for a unique service project? A parent with young children wanting to interact with other adults? A retiree looking for a way to volunteer in the community (but not too much of a time commitment)? Why not join the Friends of the Parsippany Library?
The Friends of the Library is a 501C3 volunteer organization that raises money and advocates for the Parsippany Public Library and its branches.
Volunteers are asked to pay a $15.00 membership fee to join. The group meets once a month (attendance is optional) and they are looking for officers for the organization, along with volunteers for the following assignments:
1. Finance committee – Assist the treasurer in collecting income, making bank deposits and compiling a monthly report.
2. Book Nook workers - The Book Nook, a used bookstore, is open 3 days in the Parsippany community center from 10 am to 3 pm. Volunteers are needed once or twice a month to work a 2 hour shift.
3. The Little Book Nook around the corner- In the Parsippany Library, 449 Halsey Road, volunteers meet on Mondays to sort through book donations and arrange them for sale in this section of the Library.
4. Fundraisers - The Friends are always looking for fundraising ideas as well as for help with their fundraisers. There are four fundraisers happening now: order a pie from Mara’s that can be picked up at the Library on November 26th; Holiday wreaths from a local garden center that can be picked up on November 29th; online ordering of some great holiday gifts from Boon Supply; and a dine out event at Gourmet Café on November 18th.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Friends President, Chris Liparini at cgliparini@gmail.com. Be a Friend and make some new friends!

Thinking About De-Cluttering Before All the Holiday Presents Arrive?
Kids, both big and small are getting excited about the special season ahead. So consider making room for those presents by donating gently used children’s books to The Friends of the Parsippany Library. A beloved children’s book that your child has outgrown can bring a smile to the face of another child.
Donations can be left at the Circulation Desk.
