Made just 5 days before pickup, these wreaths will remain fresh throughout the season. A 22” door size wreath of Frazier Fir with a cheerful bow will ward off those wintry skies! And 100% of the profits will go towards library programs for children and adults.

Just complete the order form, attach a check for $25 and drop off your order at any library branch, or mail to: Friends of the Library, 449 Halsey Rd., Parsippany, NJ 07054 to be received by Nov.10.

Then pick up your wreath at the Main Library on Friday Nov.29th from 10am - 2pm.

Friends-Giving Pie Sale

Make the holidays a little less stressful and let Mara's do the Thanksgiving baking for you! Simply order your pies by November 19th and then pick them up at the Main Library (449 Halsey Road) between 4pm and 9pm on November 26. A portion of the cost of each item will go back to the Friends and be passed on to the library. Check out all the delicious options here.

Read for the Record: Thank You, Omu

Ages 3-7

Millions of adults and children will read the same story, Thank You, Omu as part of Jumpstart's Read for the Record campaign, which focuses on the importance of early literacy. The librarian will read the book followed by a Play-Doh activity. No registration required.

Origami Make and Take Ornament presented by Deanna Kwan

November 7

2:00pm-4:00pm

All Ages

Make an origami hexahedron at this drop-in program! Allow at least 15 minutes to make this ornament. Children of all ages may attend with an adult. No registration required.

Craft and Play

November 8

10:00am-10:45am

Ages 2-5

Play with educational toys and create a fall craft. No regstration required.

Lake Hiawatha

Want to participate in our Gingerbread Library Display Contest at the Lake Hiawatha Library?

Come in and get an application form and rules. Applications must be returned between Oct. 19 and Nov. 23.

Enter as a family, teen, adult or group! Viewing and voting will be open to the public and winners in each category will receive one gift card that was donated by Applebees, AMC Theatres, or Target.
