Excellent Eggs!

For ages 3-11

Please bring two hard-boiled eggs to dye with beautiful colors and decorate.  This project could get messy.  Please dress accordingly. Registration is required. Choose one session - Tuesday, March 22 at 7:00 pm or Wednesday, March 23 at 4:15 pm.

Teen March Madness


March 1-March 31

We’re celebrating March Madness— library style!  Come into the Teen Center at the Main Branch or stop by the Lake Hiawatha branch throughout the month of March and vote on which book you think will win each bracket!  At the end of the week, the winners are revealed, and the books move on. The champion from each branch will be announced on Thursday, March 31.  Join us for a donut celebration at 4 pm in the Teen Center on the day of the big reveal!

Harry Potter Party for Grades 4-5

Students in grades 4-5 are invited to join us for games and a craft celebrating the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling.  Registration is required and will begin on Wednesday, February 17 at 9am.
