We are excited to announce a great service that will allow you to easily keep track of everything going on in Parsippany-Troy Hills!

Join us for a special Saturday edition of STEM storytime.  Children will learn about bats through stories and educational activities including a fun craft.  This is a repeat of the October 11 STEM storytime.  Registration is not required.
 
 
Zumba for Kids

Learn some new moves and have fun exercising with Zumba!  Comfortable clothing and sneakers are recommended.  No registration required.

 Friendship Storytime presented by the Friends of the Library

Celebrate National Friends of the Library week by attending a special storytime about friendship! The Friends of the Parsippany Library will read stories about friends to children in the Story Hour Room. This storytime is recommended for children from ages 3-7 but younger siblings are welcome. Registration is not required.

Travel all around the world, right from your library!  Each month we'll be “visiting” a different continent in this special storytime featuring stories from around the world.

 

Can You Survive the Zombie Apocalypse?

We will read through a Choose your Own Adventure book together and find out if we'll survive a zombie apocalyose.  We will also do a short craft.

This film is rated PG13 and runs approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Anyone 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult.

 

 

 

At Long Last Love - Jean & Bill McClelland

October 21

The birth of the American song brought with it music that was filled with vigor, originality and musical daring. In their concerts, Jean and Bill McClelland have been acclaimed for the vitality, care and artistry they bring to this brilliant music.

 

 

The HUB Camera Club, Mountain Lakes, NJ, photography exhibit is currently on display at the Parsippany Library. The HUB Camera Club, founded in 1998 offers programs, demonstrations, competitions, workshops and exhibitions. They meet the fourth Monday of the month at the Mt. Lakes Library.

Also displayed is an exhibit of the Parsippanong Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution DAR .

A collection of Tom Petty memorabilia is also on display to celebrate his life and his music.

Programs for Teens

Main Library

Quiet Hour for students in Grades 6-12 will be from 3:00pm-4:00pm Monday-Friday in Teen Central.  The room will be a designated quiet homework space for this hour during the school year.
