Join us for a special Saturday edition of STEM storytime.  Children will learn about bats through stories and educational activities including a fun craft.  This is a repeat of the October 11 STEM storytime.  Registration is not required.
 
 
 

Lake Hiawatha       

On Tuesday, October 2 from 4 pm to 5 pm at our Lake Hiawatha Branch, local Parsippany author, Jacqueline M. Mashack, is coming for a special visit to read her book: No Smiling On Monday.

The book is about fairness & rights of individuals using 'The Blues' type of music. Jacqueline will also teach the children a blues song, and there will be a craft.

She will bring copies of her book to sell and autograph for a $10.00 charge (optional). This program is for Grades K - 2, registration is not required.

 

 

Family Pumpkin Decorating Craft

October 6

All Ages

Spend some quality family time decorating a small pumpkin (no carving). Must Register in Advance. Registration begins October 2 at 6:00pm.

 

Sewing 101
October 17 

6:15pm-7:00pm

Grades 3-5

Learn basic sewing skills like how to thread a needle and sew on a button. All materials will be provided. Must Register in Advance. Registration begins October 3 at 6:00 p.m.

Doors Open at 6:30pm

 

This film is rated PG13 and runs approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Anyone 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult.

Main Library

Quiet Hour for students in Grades 6-12 will be from 3:00pm-4:00pm Monday-Friday in Teen Central.  The room will be a designated quiet homework space for this hour during the school year.
