Zumba for Kids

Learn some new moves and have fun exercising with Zumba! No registration required. Comfortable clothing and sneakers are recommended.

Children of all ages enjoy playing bingo with their caregivers.  Registration is not required. Drop in to have fun!
 
 
 

Lake Hiawatha       

On Tuesday, October 2 from 4 pm to 5 pm at our Lake Hiawatha Branch, local Parsippany author, Jacqueline M. Mashack, is coming for a special visit to read her book: No Smiling On Monday.

The book is about fairness & rights of individuals using 'The Blues' type of music. Jacqueline will also teach the children a blues song, and there will be a craft.

She will bring copies of her book to sell and autograph for a $10.00 charge (optional). This program is for Grades K - 2, registration is not required.

 

What's the Big Idea?

We will learn about butterflies and moths and complete a simple experiment or make a take home craft.

 

Krypton Warrior Robotics Presentation

September 29

11:00am-12:00pm

Ages 9-13

Krypton Warriors, a middle school robotics team, will deomnstrate robotics, talk about sapce, and even play a game of Space Jeopardy with the audience.  Registration is required.  Register online here.

 

 

 

                                        

 
 

 

People can pick up an application to register to vote at any one of our 3 branch locations. The Library is joining in with many other places around the country to encourage people to register to vote on National Voter Registration day. We will also have special stickers to handout for those who register here. Once the form is completed, it just needs to be mailed in.

Tuesday October 16 is the deadline to register to vote in New Jersey for people to vote in the November election. After tomorrow we will still have voter registration forms available at the Library.

This film is rated PG13 and runs approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Quiet Hour for students in Grades 6-12 will be from 3:00pm-4:00pm Monday-Friday in Teen Central.  The room will be a designated quiet homework space for this hour during the school year.
