Great American Read

Adults are invited to participate in the Great American Read this summer. PBS conducted a national survey in search of America’s 100 best-loved novels.

The Parsippany Library would like to know what your favorite is from this list. Stop by any of our library locations and pick up the 100 Great Reads list.  See how many you have read and vote weekly for your favorites. When you cast your vote, you are entered in a raffle!

The Library will announce Parsippany’s #1 Best Loved novel in September.

Tea for Three:  Lady Bird, Pat & Betty

Starring Emmy Award Winner Elaine Bromka

"Emmy Award-winning actress Elaine Bromka takes on the personae of Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon and Betty Ford in this thought-provoking perspective on the politics of love, devotion, and  first ladydom.  An unforgettable play, offering insights into each leading lady’s life with humor and poignancy.  Walk in the shoes of each of these uncommon women at the end of her husband’s administration--a threshold moment of insight and hope.  This deeply touching, funny play reveals the personal cost of what Pat Nixon called "the hardest unpaid job in the world."
