Vinyasa Yoga

Join us on the following Tuesdays:

Rebecca Manci, a certified yoga instructor, will teach one-hour vinyasa yoga classes.  Vinyasa yoga connects breath and movement to create an experience that is balanced both mentally and physically.

All levels are welcome.  Please bring a yoga mat to class.  Registration is not required, but there is a $5.00 fee per class.

Mount Tabor

New Jersey's Colonial Architecture Told in 100 Buildings

Local author David Veasey will speak about his book New Jersey's Colonial Architecture Told in 100 Buildings.  Pictures of a number of buildings from our colonial past that are still standing will be shown.

The Livingston Camera Club exhibit is on display at the Main Library on the lower level.  Livingston Camera Club is dedicated to promoting photography, with color and monochromatic images in print and projected formats.  Stop by and visit these wonderful photographic prints!

 

 

 

They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway! Visit the Lake Hiawatha Branch and see the Broadway items on display from the collection of Korin Rosenkrans, Lake Hiawatha Branch Manager.

 

 


Friends of the Library 

 

Not sure what to do with the kids during those last two weeks of August?

The Friends of the Parsippany Library have partnered with Mad Science and Dawn Lau Dance Company to offer Parsippany students the opportunity to participate in half-day science and arts camps, with $20 of each registration going back to the Friends of the Parsippany Library.  

Camp will be offered at both the Main Library and Lake Hiawatha locations.  Be sure to choose the information specific to your desired location.  

The Friends will donate this money to the library for the purchase of additional children's programming and materials.
