Summer Reading at the Library!

This year's Summer Reading theme is Build A Better World. Stop by any of our locations to pick up a Summer Reading activity sheet and get started!

We have Summer Reading activities all summer long for children, teens, and adults.  A full schedule of events can be found on on our website at parsippanylibrary.org.

The last day to hand in activity sheets and raffle tickets for Summer Reading is Monday, August 28.

 

 


 

 

Name the Book Contest

Name the Book contest for children ages 5-10. Stop by the display case in the Main Library's lower level and see if you can guess the titles of the books represented! The contest ends on July 31, 2017.

Two children with correct answers will each receive a trophy. All materials and trophies have been donated by the Hills of Troy Neighborhood Association.

The displays were created by Warren Singer with assistance from Alexa Lynch.

 

 


The Main Library and Lake Hiawatha Branch received safe viewing glasses through Star_Net for the upcoming August 21, 2017 Solar Eclipse.  Individuals can pick up one pair per person at the Main Library Information Services desk after August 7 and at the Lake Hiawatha Library Children's desk after August 15 while supplies last.  For more information contact the Main Library at 973-887-5150 x209 or the Lake Hiawatha Branch at 973-335-0952.
