Summer Reading Starts June 26th!

This year's Summer Reading theme is Build A Better World. Stop by any of our locations beginning on Monday, June 26 to pick up a Summer Reading activity sheet and get started!

We will have Summer Reading activities all summer long for children, teens, and adults.  A full schedule of events can be found on on our website at parsippanylibrary.org.

Learn to draw, practice what you learn, and take home a masterpiece! Registration is required and starts on 6/22 for July 6, 6/29 for July 13, 7/6 for July 20, amd 7/13 for July 27.

 

 

Mindstorms Robotics Workshop

July 13

6:30-8:00pm

Grades 4-6

Students will work in pairs to build an instruction led model using tge LEGO Mindstorms RObotics kit.  Once the project is completed, students are given various levels o9f challenges to test their model.  All materials will be provided.  Registration is required and begins on June 29.

 

     
 
 
 

 

 

 

Mini Health Fair

Come to this free health fair presented by the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA and Sportscare Performance Institute.  Events will include fitness demonstrations,blood pressure and body fat screenings, nutrition information, recipes, and more!  For teens and adults ages 13 and older.

The library is looking for Legos - in any size, shape, or color to Build A Better World for our Summer Reading Program.  There will be a box at each branch to drop off your Legos.

Art Workshop for Teens: Paint and Learn

BYOJ (Bring Your Own Juice)!  Never painted before?  Not a problem!  In this class, you will be painting from a picture using acrylic colors.  No experience necessary!  Inmstructions will be given by instructor Anju Saran.  All supplies for class use are included.  Space is limited - registration is required.
