The New Jersey Division of Taxation is presenting this free instructional and developmental workshop to educate the small business owner.

                  The Basics of Citizenship @ Lake Hiawatha!

                                         Tuesday March 14, 2017 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Paul Gilbert, Lake Hiawatha based immigration lawyer will share his 35+ years of immigration law experience and discuss the process and requirements for becoming an American citizen.
Children must be 12+ to attend.

For children in grades K-2.  Learn some fun facts about Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln and make a special patriotic craft for Presidents Day.  Registration is required and will begin on January 18 at 9am.



Read to a Dog @ the Main Library!!!

Wednesday March 1, 2017  4:30 PM to 5:30 PM    

For ages 5-10.  Sign up to read to a therapy dog.  Registration begins on February 1 at 9am.  Each child may register for one 15 minute session.

It's not too late to purchase a beautiful piece of art for your collection or to give as a gift. Contact the Library for more information. These are the beautiful works that were donated by local artists for our 10th anniversary gala.
Payment can be made by credit card, cash or check. Proceeds will be used for art programs for children, teens and adults.


Friday Film Night -Doctor Strange @ the Main Library

Friday March 17, 2017 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

After a car accident leaves him with nerve damage that ends his career as a New York neurosurgeon, Stephen Strange travels to Kathmandu in the hope of finding an otherworldly cure for his injuries. There, a powerful mystic known as the Ancient One accepts him as her pupil and trains him in the art of sorcery. Eventually, Strange must use his new powers to stop a rival from causing chaos by accessing the Dark Dimension. 
Rated PG-13 and runs 2 hours
Anyone 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Movies start at 7pm.
Doors Open at 6:30pm and close at 7:30pm.

In-beTween Book Scene

Come to the tween scene to read and discuss great books, do fun activities and enjoy a snack!  This book club is for fifth, sixth and seventh grade students and meets the third Wednesday of each month. 
Session dates are: 2/15/17, 3/15/17, 4/19/17, 5/17/17

Registration is required.   When you register for the February 15 session you have a guaranteed spot in the book club from February-May 2017.
