Coffee With a Cop

One-on-one conversations between citizens and the police are the way to build trust and understanding within communities. All Parsippany residents and business owners are encouraged to come out to engage in open discussions with members of the Parsippany Police Department.

Family Movie Matinee: Finding Dory

In this sequel to Pixar's 2003 smash hit Finding Nemo, lovable, amnesiac blue tang Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) decides to go off in search of her long-lost parents. With the help of young clown fish Nemo (Hayden Rolence) and his dad Marlin (Albert Brooks), Dory heads for California and the Monterey Marine Life Institute, evading predators along the way as she hopes to find a place she can call home.

Rated PG Children 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Library's gallery. These are the beautiful works that were donated by local artists for our 10th anniversary gala.
Payment can be made by credit card, cash or check. Proceeds will be used for art programs for children, teens and adults.

Maker Pop Up Program - Greeting Card @ the Main Library

TAB Meeting @ the Main Library

The Teen Advisory Board is made up of teens who participate in and influence the functioning of the library. TAB is an open forum to have your voice heard. Stop by Teen Central during a TAB meeting to see what it’s all about and consider applying to join! Registration is not required.

Family Gingerbread House Decorating @ Lake Hiawatha

In-person registration for Family Gingerbread House Decorating begins Tuesday, November 23.

Program dates are:

or Saturday, December 10 from 11:00-12noon

Register to decorate a gingerbread house, as a family, and then take it home with you!

We will be supplying everything! Just come and enjoy this special family time together.

$5.00 refundable deposit required $5.00 will be returned on day of program.

Art Workshop for Teens @ Lake Hiawatha

(Grades 6-12)

December 15, 7 pm.

Teens are invited to join us every third Thursday of the month at the Lake Hiawatha Branch for a fun and interactive art workshop. Each month local artist Kayla Dailey will introduce a new topic and demonstrate different techniques for creating beautiful art!

For students in grades 6-12. Registration is required.

Teen Tech Time (Grades 6-12) @ the Main Library

Need extra computer time? Want to play games like Minecraft and Block Miner with your friends? Every fourth Wednesday of the month the tech lab is teen only for two hours. No registration is required. For students in grades 6-12. Seating is first come, first served. There is a 1-hour limit when others are waiting. Future dates: ; December 28, 10 am -12 pm.
