Holiday celebrations can feel stressful during the best of times.

This year, as the COVID-19 pandemic rages on, residents of New Jersey are facing additional challenges with the approach of the holiday season. This 60-minute, Zoom-based workshop will provide a forum for participants to express fears and concerns, and to learn skills for coping with increased stress.

At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
• Identify one concern they have about navigating holiday celebrations during the COVID-19 pandemic
• Identify and describe two coping skills they can use when they are experiencing stress or anxiety

Alena Kearney, Ph.D., LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey, and has a decade of post-master’s experience providing group and individual therapy to adults.
