If you love scrolling through Pinterest and pinning crafts and projects, this is the group for you!
 
Once a month, The Pinterest Junkie Group will meet and complete a project that is popular on Pinterest.  Every month will be something new and exciting to create.
 
We will provide the supplies and equipment from our Makerspace (M3); all you have to do is come and fun have and meet new friends!

Enjoy a movie based on the classic children’s book! Have a snack we provide, or bring your own snack! Caregivers must remain with children under 9 for entire movie. CAREGIVRES please review movie trailer online before registering – this is a PG movie that has parental guidance rating.

Robotics @ the Main Library!

STEAM Works Studio Presents NANO BOTS Robotics (1st-4th grade)

Thursday June 2, 2016 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

STEAM Works Studio is offering a free demonstration of NANO BOTS Robotics for 1st-4th graders.  NANO BOTS employs Lego based kits appropriate for hands-on building and programming projects. STEAM Works Studio aims to deliver a balanced Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math focused education that equips and empowers learners with the skills, knowledge, and experience vital for success.  Registration is required and will begin on May 18.

TAB Meeting (Grades 6-12) @ Teen Central

Monday, June 13th, 3 pm

The Teen Advisory Board is made up of teens who participate in and influence the functioning of the library.  TAB is an open forum to have your voice heard. Stop by the Teen Center during a TAB meeting to see what it’s all about; and, if you’re interested, apply to join!  Registration is not required.

We're looking for a few good Friends!

The Friends of the Parsippany Library is a 501C3 volunteer organization.

We are looking for a president; vice president; secretary and treasurer. Job descriptions can be found on the Library’s website. Essentially these officers attend monthly meetings ( at a time and day of the week agreed upon by the officers) ;  solicit ideas and preside over the fundraising activities of the Friends; encourage involvement in the Book Nook and any other of the Friends fundraising activities. This is the perfect job for anyone who loves the Library and wishes to give back to the community!
