Good news! Your library items are only a phone call or email away! The Parsippany Library, 449 Halsey Road, and the Lake Hiawatha branch, 68 Nokomis Avenue, continue to offer convenient curbside pickup for anyone who wants to pick up a hold or request a Library item.
In order to be consistent with the opening of other public buildings in Town, and for the safety and security of our residents and staff, the Main Library plans to reopen on July 20th. Stay tuned for more details.
Our Library book drops are open! You can return your items at any time. Fines are being waived until September 8th.
The library cannot accept book or media donations at this time. Due to current public health considerations, donations left at the Library will be quickly discarded.
2020 Summer Reading Club at the Parsippany Library System

Record the hours or minutes that you read from June 22 to August 22.
Preschoolers, elementary school students, and teens can join the club. The ten elementary schools in Parsippany will compete for a trophy based on the average number of hours each student reads.
You can read any type of book, including audiobooks and ebooks. Preschoolers can count the minutes that someone reads to them.
Every child that reads for 36 hours will receive a goody bag with small prizes at the end of the summer.

Check out an ebook, https://parsippanylibrary.org/digital/ or view a book directly through Tumblebooks. You do not need a library card to view Tumblebooks but you will need a library card to download ebooks from the CloudLibrary.
ZOOM-ba for Kids

Recommended for ages 5 and older. Comfortable clothes and sneakers recommended. Our instructor Andrea will lead a class on ZOOM that the whole family can exercise along with. Please register online here to recieve a link to this program. This will take place on the library's secure ZOOM account so we can avoid disruptions to our program!
