They have donated over 14,000 items--hats, scarves, items for children, afghans, and more--to cancer patients, the needy, the homeless, and others. Projects for Veterans Open Build Hours. Tuesday, November 13, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Join our volunteers as we make 100 Purple Heart pens, Pens for the Troops and flag boxes for veterans. This is a service project for our veterans and active duty troops. Youth age 9 years+ are welcome to participate with a guardian. Foundry Waiver & Safety forms are required.

Chair Yoga. Tuesday, November 13, 2018, 10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Join our volunteer teacher for an all new Chair Yoga program! A signed liability waiver is required. The fitness goals for this program are to improve balance and increase endurance, flexibility, and range of motion. The class is taught in seated and standing positions using a chair as a prop. Research shows that people with Parkinson's Disease can benefit from activities such as Chair Yoga. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing. If you wish to relax on the floor for the final pose, feel free to bring a yoga mat, towel or blanket.

Our woodworking volunteers have been hard at work making custom wooden toys in our foundry, and now we are in search of artistic individuals to make them beautiful and colorful! The session will be led by our resident artist, Jayde. Have fun painting while making a child's day! Teens may also earn volunteer hours for participating. No donation to the organization is necessary, and all supplies are provided. Please only attend this class if you are over the age of 16. Registration is required.

The Mobile Unit is a self-contained resource room on wheels with twelve computer stations; satellite Internet and telecommunications; printing, copying, and total mobility. Employers can use the Mobile Unit to anchor employee on-site recruitment efforts, job fairs, testing and training. Job Seeking customers can search for work, create and print resumes, access local and statewide job listings, and receive referrals to and information about the programs of CareerSource Pasco Hernando.

We'll have a fancy dinner just like Snoopy and the gang (popcorn, toast, jelly beans, and pretzel sticks)! There will also be fall/Thanksgiving themed crafts! It's fun for the whole family!
